Mission Possible had the privilege of Eduard Klassen performing at four different venues throughout Ireland during November 2017 and we thank him for his interest in and support of Mission Possible. All offerings during the events went to support the work of the Mission.
Eduard, originally from Paraguay, played a variety of Christian harp music including some of the old traditional favourites. Everyone was enthralled with his musical ability and his personal testimony and stories of God’s work in his life, from boyhood poverty in the wilderness of Paraguay to now performing concerts all over the world.
Our Mission Possible Concerts with Eduard Klassen took place throughout Ireland.
Our first event was in Tullyallen Presbyterian Church, Co. Armagh on Thursday 23rd November.
Our second concert was held in Cuningham Memorial Presbyterian Church, Cullybackey, Co. Antrim on Friday 24th November. Eduard was accompanied by local trio David, Darryl and Robin whose talented singing captured everyone.
Joe, Sadie, Eduard and his wife Christine travelled to the South of Ireland where two more concerts were held.
The first of these was in Bantry Christian Fellowship Church, Co. Cork and we were delighted with the warm welcome and response.
The second Southern event was in 2nd Ballybay Presbyterian Church, Co. Monaghan. Again a wonderful evening was had by all.
Our thanks to Eduard and Christine and also to the four Churches for allowing us to share about the work of Mission Possible in Colombia.
These concerts were a huge financial success and much needed funding was raised to support the Street Children projects in Bogota. To all who contributed; thank you very much – your support is greatly appreciated.
